Cryoablation
What is Cryoablation ?
Cryoablation is a minimally invasive procedure that uses extreme cold to freeze and destroy cancerous cells. It is a safe and effective treatment for a wide variety of benign and malignant tumors, including breast, lung, kidney, liver, bone, and many other lesions.

HOW DOES CRYOABLATION WORK ?
1
The tumour is carefully identified using CT or ultrasound imaging for precise targeting.
2
A specialised cryoprobe is then gently guided into the tumour through a tiny skin entry point.
3
4
This extreme cold creates a controlled ice ball around the tumour, freezing and destroying cancerous cells.
5
Real-time imaging allows the doctor to continuously monitor the ice ball and ensure the entire tumour, along with a small safety margin, is adequately treated.
6
Once treatment is complete, the tissue is safely thawed and the cryoprobe is carefully removed.
